Can the ignition coil be replaced individually?
Jan 05, 2023
The ignition coil can be replaced separately, as long as it does not affect other functions, the damaged ignition coil can be replaced directly.
Generally, the service life of the ignition coil on the car is about 100,000 kilometers. The power of the car engine comes from the combustion of the mixture in the cylinder, and the energy that ignites the mixture is transmitted through the ignition coil. There are two ways to set the ignition coil. One method is to place the ignition coil somewhere in the engine compartment, and the high-voltage electricity is distributed through the distributor and then transmitted to the spark plug through the cylinder line. The second way is to place the ignition coil on the upper part of the spark plug and connect it directly to the spark plug.

When the engine is running, the current on the ignition coil is relatively large, and the temperature generated by the engine is relatively high. Long-term operation can cause the ignition coil to deteriorate. The said 100,000 kilometers is not a fixed value, as long as normal use and maintenance, the ignition coil does not need to be replaced.
If the ignition coil fails, it will cause the car to shake at idle and weak acceleration while driving. When the speed reaches a certain value, the car shake will disappear, so replace the ignition coil in time.
